Cyclone Arnab likely to intensify into very severe storm, Andhra Coast on Red Alert

Cyclone Arnab is expected to intensify into a very severe cyclonic storm on October 27 before crossing the Andhra Pradesh coast near Yanam on October 28.

The IMD has issued a red-level warning for Andhra Pradesh and adjoining parts of south Odisha, as authorities step up preparedness measures. Tamil Nadu is also bracing for heavy rain amid an intensifying Northeast monsoon.
