Tharoor responds to traders’ objection to Congress’s anti-SIR protest

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said the party could not remain silent over the alleged denial of voters’ rights. He was responding to traders’ concerns over Congress’s November 1 anti-SIR rally at Ramlila Maidan.

Tharoor said Congress supports small traders and does not intend to disrupt their livelihoods or public life.
