India successfully tests Ballistic Missile Defence Interceptor AD-1

DRDO successfully conducted the maiden flight test of the phase-II Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) interceptor AD-1 missile . The missile is capable of neutralising long-range missiles and aircraft. The test flight was conducted from the APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the Odisha coast on Nov 3.
