Refrigerator explosion at women's hostel in Madurai leaves two dead, three injured

Two women were killed, and three others suffered minor injuries and suffocation after a fire broke out at a working women's hostel near Periyar Bus Stand in Madurai. The fire was triggered by a refrigerator blast and took place during the early hours of September 12 while the hostel inmates were asleep.
