40 years after Bhopal Gas Tragedy, Union Carbide’s 337 metric tons of toxic waste disposal begins

Around 337 metric tonnes of toxic waste, including remnants of the pesticide Sewan and other chemicals used in the production of MIC, will be transported to Pithampur, about 250 kilometers away, for safe disposal.
