A 13-year-old girl was allegedly strangled by none other than her mother in a ritual sacrifice in Jharkhand. A 35-year-old Reshmi Devi from Kusumbha village, along with 55-year-old occult practitioner Shanti Devi and 40-year-old Bhim Ram, were arrested.
The mother consulted Shanti Devi to cure her ailing son with physical and mental issues. The 'tantrik' reportedly advised the sacrifice of a virgin girl as the solution. The trio allegedly killed the girl at Shanti Devi's residence on March 24 during Ram Navami
