Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar assumes additional charge as 27th Tamil Nadu Governor

Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar assumed additional charge as the 27th Governor of Tamil Nadu on Thursday.

The oath of office was administered by Madras High Court Chief Justice Sushrut Avind Dharmadhikari.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, his Cabinet colleagues and senior officials attended the ceremony. Stalin welcomed Arlekar with a bouquet and shawl after he assumed office.
