A mother and her daughter were killed in a shooting spree near Los Angeles Wednesday, Xinhua reported.
An African-American man opened fire in the premises of a company in Downey that sells fire extinguishers, about 20 km from downtown Los Angeles.
Three injured were taken to St. Francis Medical Center and Long Beach Memorial Hospital.
