MUMBAI: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday gained by 89.63 points to 34,395.06 as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday predicted yet another year of normal rains.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too advanced by 20.35 points to 10,528.70.
The sensex registered the day's high and low at 34,434.14 and 34,299.83 points. The Nifty registered day's high and low at 10,560.45 and 10,495.65 points, respectively.
