BANGALORE: Bangalore University (BU) is organising a three-day youth festival from August 16, 2010.
A release from BU said that the purpose of the youth festival was to provide a platform for young talents, who will in turn represent BU at the south zone inter-university youth festival. BU has invited applications from students studying in colleges affiliated to BU (both UG and PG) to send their entries to cultural coordinator, Bangalore University, Youth Festival, Department of Performing Arts, Sneha Bhavan, Jnanabharathi campus, Bangalore on or before August 10.
An entry fee of Rs 50 per item and Rs 100 for group events shall be paid by way of crossed DD in favour of Finance Officer, Bangalore University, only drawn on any nationalised bank. All the chairpersons/principals of affiliated colleges of BU are requested to send the entries from their respective colleges.
