BANGALORE: The Bangalore International Midnight Marathon (BIMM-2011) is back with the theme “Run for a Child”. The marathon which is in its 5th edition, was announced on Thursday by the Rotary Bangalore IT Corridor-RBITC.

The BIMM-2011 will be organised at Whitefield on  December 10. The organisers said that this was the main fund raising event for RBITC’s social service projects relating to education, child welfare, environment, health, community development and vocational services.  The events comprise IT City Fun Run, Community relay, 10K Run, Half Marathon, Marathon, Women and Corporate Relay, among which IT city Run and Marathon being the main attractions. The 10K Run, which is introduced for the first time,  is expected to be a crowd puller as health enthusiasts come out in large numbers.
