Workshop on 3D mural paintings

A month-long workshop on three dimensional mural arts designing will be held in the city starting from July 3 by Kalakruthi Mural Creations, a group of artists from Pune. The workshop will be held at Kala Kuteera on Shivaram Karanth Road in Chikkallasandra.

Addressing a news conference here on Tuesday,  Datta Vaidya and B N Muketar, both renowned artists from Punethe group said, “It is an art form that blends traditional and modern styles and it is contemporary in its own way.” 

They said they will teach 3D mural designing which consists of making murals using M Seal and furniture with mural art on it. Cold Glass Fusion technique will be taught at the workshop along with the art of making 3D Glass Murals. Mix Media murals is the highlight of the workshop which combines stone carving, murals on ceramic and glass, and copper murals.
