The General Officer Commanding presented gifts to the children and a trophy for the school. He encouraged students to join the defence forces. The educational tour is being conducted by 24 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion (Bihar) on behalf of 3 Sector Rashtriya Rifles. The students participating in the tour hail from remote villages like Wangat, Surphrao, Gund, Chattergul, Kangan and Marmar of Ganderbal Distt, under Tehsil Kangan.

During the tour students visited various places of historical importance in Bangalore and Mysore. They visited Bannerghatta National Park, Cubbon Park, Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore Museum, Botanical Garden, Infosys, Waves Mall, Brindavan Garden and Tippu Sultan Palace.

The aim of the tour is to bring vision to move ahead in life which would go a long way in shaping the minds of future generations of the Valley and creating the environment of Aman and Khushali in Kashmir.
