Selection trials for the Army Boys Sports Company of Madras Engineer Group and Centre will be held at the Kendriya Vidyalaya pavilion, opposite Boys Sports Company, near Thomas Bakery, St John’s Road, from 7 am from December 3 to 5. The selection will be held for Boxing, Hockey and Swimming.
Those who are in the age group of 11 to 15 years and minimum sixth class passed are eligible.
Interested candidates have been asked to report at the venue along with their original/certified true copies of birth certificates, six copies of latest photographs, certificates of participation in sports at district level and above if any, sports kit for participation in selection for respective games and educational qualifications.
The boys enrolled in the Boys Sports Company will be given education up to 12th standard, free boarding and lodging, uniform, books and stationery, sports kit, 60 days leave, free travel expenses, medical and group insurance. It is mandatory for the boys enrolled to join the Army at the age of 17 years and 6 months.
