A victim of gas tanker explosion at Perne near Uppinangady breathed her last at a private hospital on Friday.
Vimala, 34, an Anganwadi teacher, is the deceased. With her death, the death toll in the ghastly fire accident has reached nine. Vimala was shifted to Father Mullers Kospital in Kankanady. However, she did not respond to the treatment and succumbed. Meanwhile, three others injured in the accident are out of danger.
