Soon, all Namma Metro trains will have wi-fi connection. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) did a trial of the services on train set number 9. A statement from BMRCL said field trials and tests were being conducted simultaneously.
“Over 60 passengers have already used the services. In the next three months, if the tests are successful, we hope to introduce it on all trains,” said the statement.
To log on to wi-fi services, connect to ‘BMRCL’ wi-fi, open browser and access any page.
Click on ‘create account’, enter your mobile number and agree to the terms. Then, enter a username and password received via SMS on your phone.
