Master N Prajwal, a versatile artiste and an ardent, passionate tabla player has carved a name for himself in the world of classical music. Trained by eminent gurus like Vidwan Amrutesh Kulkarni, Pandit Satish Hampiholi and Pandit B M Nagaraj, he has taken this art form to new heights at a very young age.

Child prodigy

Studying in VIII Grade at Sri Chaitanya Techno School in JP Nagar, Prajwal has been learning this percussion instrument in the Hindustani style for the past four years at Sri Guru Samartha Sangeetha Vidyalaya. He usually accompanies musicians at various concerts and programmes in the city. Participating in many state level and inter-state competitions, he has been honoured by many esteemed Sabhas including Bal Bhavan Society, Kannada and Culture Department, Tamilnadu Jawahar Bal Bhavan and a host of other academies.

Talent recognition

Taking part in several solo and group performances, he has been recognised for his talent at both the state and national level. Apart from this, he has represented Bangalore Balbhavan at Chennai, given performances at Trichy and Mangalore too. He was selected to represent the state in the Hindustani Taala Vaadya - Tabala under the Bala Prathibe (below 13 years) category that is

conducted by the Karnataka Government.

He has also participated in many musical festivals during Rajyotsava and Navarathri celebrations.
