The Christmas celebrations of CSI Bain Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Kodungaiyur, were held on December 9. The evening was graced by the presence of Bishop Rt Rev Dr D Devasagayam, Madras Diocese. The programme started with a prayer by Rev Augustin Andrews, presbyter in charge of Christ Church, Kodungaiyur.
Principal Jeevananthi Prabhakar welcomed the gathering. The Bishop gave the Christmas message and the Christmas greeting was given by Lenora James, Correspondent of CSI schools. The students presented entertainment programmes in colourful attire.
The programme came to a close with a grand finale where the staff members exhibited the manger surrounded by a hundreds of angels and Santas. The celebration closed with a prayer by Hubert J Pandian, the DEO of Madras Diocese.
