An industrialist has filed a case against Kannada film producer Rockline Venkatesh and his brother Bhramaresh alleging that the duo had threatened him at their office in Rajajinagar police station limits.

An industrialist has filed a case against Kannada film producer Rockline Venkatesh and his brother Bhramaresh alleging that the duo had threatened him at their office in Rajajinagar police station limits.

Dr Rame Gowda, who also owns a super specialty hospital in Malleswaram, told police that Rockline Venkatesh and his brother had also forced him to register his properties in their name.

According to police, Dr Gowda had taken a loan of `1.45 crore from Rockline Venkatesh and agreed to pay interest at the rate of 2.5 per cent. However, he could not pay the loan since two months.

The accused, Bhramaresh had called Rame Gowda many times in this backdrop.

Dr Gowda had gone to Venkatesh’s office on Tuesday evening to seek 10 days time for the payment.

Dr Gowda alleged that when he went to Rockline Venkatesh’s office, the accused assaulted him, abused him verbally and threatened to kill him.

The police say that the accused had taken signatures of Dr Gowda on blank sheets by threatening him with a revolver.

Dr Gowda also sought police protection.
