A soothing musical event

Violin maestros Mysore M Nagaraj, Dr Mysore Manjunath, Ganesh and Kumaresh are coming together once again on a single platform to showcase their expertise on melody and rhythm.

They are all set to enthrall the audience with their soothing music after the quartet’s concert in Gayana Samaja.

Vishesha Fine Arts’ annual event Vishesha Utsava will take place on February 10 and the violin quartet will be rendering the concert in the evening.

Also, the event features Pandit Dhanajaya Hegde rendering Hindustani Classical music.

Close to 20 leading artistes will perform throughout the day.

Nadaswara duet performance and a concert by an upcoming young artist will be held in the morning.

The Utsava is not just confined to music but Kathak performances will also be recited by Nirupama and Rajendra.

Also, a segment honouring significant individuals who have contributed to the field of art will be held.

The main concert will be dedicated to the recently demised stalwart of Indian classical music M S Gopalakrishnan.
