The Youth Red Cross Unit of DRBCCC Hindu College, Pattabiram, conducted a one-day first aid training camp for students on September 25. K J Suriya Narayanan, Additional director, St Johns Ambulance, Chennai, spoke to students about artificial respiration and about ways to deal with burns, poisoning, drowning, hanging, choking and toxic fumes.
Around 200 students participated in the training camp.
