Governor H R Bhardwaj visited the Command Hospital here on Tuesday on the 81st anniversary of the Indian Air Force.

Governor H R Bhardwaj visited the Command Hospital here on Tuesday on the 81st anniversary of the Indian Air Force.

Speaking on the occasion, Bhardwaj lauded the service provided at the hospital to over two lakh dependents, including armed forces personnel and their families.

“Command Hospital is an institute that is equipped with modern facilities. Several complex medical procedures have been carried out here thanks to its excellent staff,” he said.

Hospital commandant Air vice-marshal Rajvir Bhalwar showed the Governor the hospital’s state-of-the-art Positron Emission Tomography Centre (PET Centre).

Bhardwaj also visited the oncology ward in the hospital and interacted with patients.

His wife Prafulata Bhardwaj also visited the hospital’s Air Force Wives’ Welfare Association and also interacted with patients in the paediatrics ward.
