Some HOPCOMS outlets in the city are going to sell wine, three months down the line, said Karnataka Wine Board MD B Krishna.
He said five HOPCOMS outlets in the city were identified to be wine boutiques. “Though wine is not hard liquor, it contains 8 per cent to 14 per cent alcohol in it. We have selected HOPCOMS outlets in the city which are not near schools or places of worship,” he said.
“There is a need to create awareness about wine which is beneficial for health, it rejuvenates one’s skin and decreases cholesterol,” he said.
