Going forward from their previous shows, New Thippasandra’s WeMove Theatre has now ventured into offering theatre internships. Its seven week-long programme 'Big Step' attracts people passionate about every aspect of theatre and theatre production.

Big Step works like a platform that enthusiasts can use to explore their creativity. The internship programme comprises different modules such as “Acting”, “Production”, “Lighting” and “Theatre Marketing”. A public performance on stage where participants get to implement all that they have learnt marks the end of their training.

The first batch of Big Step is ready to graduate and will stage the play, Feb 29th, written by WeMove Theatre’s director and founder Abhishek Iyengar.

About six friends and the series of events that take place when the friends meet for a re-union six years after they first met, Feb29th unravels what happens when group decides to play a game called “Truth and only Truth” where each reveals one truth about the other.

Directed by WeMove’s Anirudh Mahesh and Ranjan S, the play includes music tracks by legendary Hindi film playback singers Mohammad Rafi and Kishore Kumar.

Feb 29th will stage its premiere show on October 27, at 7.30 pm at Alliance Francaise, Vasanthnagar.
