Woman found murdered at home

A woman was murdered on Wednesday at her residence in I stage BTM Layout. The deceased has been identified as Nasrat Sultana (45).

A woman was murdered on Wednesday at her residence in I stage BTM Layout. The deceased has been identified as Nasrat Sultana (45).

According to police, there were several injury marks on the neck of the deceased. It is learnt that an unknown person, whose name or relationship with the victim has not yet been established, would often visit her.

Nasrat was alone at home after sending her son to college at 6.45 am. Her maid came in through the open door and found Nasrat lying dead. Terrified, she called for help and a neighbour had informed the police. Preliminary investigations revealed that nothing is missing from the house. Police is suspecting personal reasons behind the murder.
