BANGALORE: Bakrid, the festival of sacrifice, was celebrated across the city with pomp and gaiety. The members of the Muslim community wished each other on the occasion at various mosques in the city where the prayers were held.

The city’s biggest congregation of Muslims took place at the Hazrath Khazi Abdul Khuddus Saheb Eidgah at 9.30 am, where around 2 lakh people participated.
