Take the Bus, Celebs Say

BANGALORE: Sandalwood actor Dhruv has managed to impress the youth of the city by taking part in the Bus Day celebrations held here on Tuesday. While addressing the crowd that had gathered to see him, he said that buses should be the main means of transport in the city.

“If people start commuting in buses, there will be less cars used for travelling day in day out in Bangalore. Like car pooling, we could implement bus pooling. Each residential area can make arrangements to take buses that pass through their destination on a daily basis,” explains Dhruv.

“This will also help reduce traffic and all kinds of pollution in the city. This in turn will help commuters travel in peace without stressing out,” he goes on to add.

Actors Srinagar Kitty, Roopika, K P Srikanth and Chetan Kumar also attended the function that saw the presence of Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy. The guests discussed transport problems affecting the citizens.
