PSLV C26 Launch Put Off to October 16

BANGALORE : The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Thursday said the launch of the PSLV C26 mission that will place the IRNSS 1C satellite into orbit, will take place on October 16 at 1.32 am.

The launch had to be postponed from October 10 due to reasons related to the telecommand system observed during launch rehearsal. Currently, the PSLV and the satellite are being put through final checks after the Mission Readiness Review committee and the Launch Authorisation Board approved the launch on October 7.

IRNSS 1C will join two satellites that have been launched earlier.
