CHENNAI: The Department of Corporate Secretaryship of DG Vaishnav College, Arumbakkam, organised a workshop on Limited Liability Partnership for the students.
Lavanya R Niranjhan, Director, Iris Techsolve India Private Limited, put forth the concepts of limited liability partnerships. She explained the difference between closely-related concepts of partnerships, proprietorship and companies. She brought out the advantages of getting into a limited liability partnership rather than to unlimited liability partnerships.
Rakesh Shankar R, Assistant Professor, felt that limited liability partnership, needed to be explained to the students. “It entails relaxed regularisation. More people from other job backgrounds can get together as partners and this will benefit the future businessmen who study here. Also, with the relaxations, the partners will be less averse to starting new ventures.”
