CHENNAI: Narayana E-Techno School, Arumbakkam wore a festive look as students geared up for the Food Fest organised on the occasion of World Food Day recently.
The e-kidz students went on a campaign and visited all the classes to collect signatures on placards carrying slogans about saving food and the earth.
They brought snacks for their friends and learnt the habit of sharing food. The e-champs and e-techno students enjoyed ‘Pot Lunch’ where they shared their food with other students. They learnt the plight of underprivileged children and took an oath not to waste food.
Students and staff of the school contributed to a fund that will be used for providing food to underprivileged children.
