BANGALORE : The forensic reports on the answer scripts sent by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) have found major malpractices in the post-graduate medical examinations held in June.

Following the Syndicate’s decision two months ago, RGUHS had sent the answer scripts chosen by the internal inquiry committee for forensic tests. The final report of the commission along with report will be placed before the Syndicate on Friday.

According to the information available with Express, the forensic test has found that answer scripts of 23 students were tampered with.

The Case

In August, RGUHS received an anonymous letter stating some answer scripts had been separated, changed and re-stitched. Copies of the letter were sent to the Chief Minister and other ministers. The university constituted a probe committee which committee recommended that the results of some of the candidates be withheld and the case be handed over to the CID.
