BANGALORE : The Karnataka State Human Rights Commission on Friday launched an online portal for easy complaint registration and management.
Retired judge Cyriac Joseph, a member of the National Human Rights Commission, launched the portal and said it would enable people to file and track their complaints.
Earlier, the commission used to receive complaints in person, through post, registered post, over phone and through e-mail. But the ‘Complaint Handling Management System’, a software developed by the National Informatics Centre, New Delhi, aims to make the process user-friendly.
One of the aims of the project is assuring people that their complaints have been lodged.
