CHENNAI: A seminar on ‘Out of campus, what next’ was conducted on August 26 at the Loyola Institute of Technology, Palanchur, with the blessing of founding father and chairman of DFT group of institutions, Fr J E Arulraj.

The meeting was presided over by Sujatha Anand, Principal, Loyola Institute of Technology. Around 300 final year students attended the seminar. Babu Jaykumar, Deputy Resident Editor, The New Indian Express, Chennai, was the chief guest for the function. He was accorded a warm welcome and honoured with a shawl and momentum by the seminar organising committee.

The chief guest encouraged the students to choose their career well and emphasised the need for acquiring enhanced skill sets in addition to the knowledge acquired through engineering education. He advised the outgoing engineers to be vigilant in developing their skills to face the competitive environment.
