Meet Discusses Need to Balance Worlds

BENGALURU:  ‘Dialogue of Hope,’ an inter-religious discussion, in conjunction with spiritual leader Sri M’s ‘Walk of Hope’, was held at the Sarva Dharma Kendra in the city on Wednesday.

The topic of discussion was ‘How to Maintain a Balance Between the External Material World and the Inner Spiritual World’.

Sri M, citing various religious texts, said the most important message from all religions is that “religion is one’s personal experience and that it is important to live one’s life without harming anyone.”

Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala Dr Veerendra Heggade and others, including Fr Ronnie Prabhu of the Catholic Church of Karnataka, exhorted that it is necessary to achieve communal harmony through each religion’s teachings.

On Friday, the ‘Walk of Hope’ will progress from the Sarva Dharma Kendra to the Shankaraa Foundation. During this leg, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is expected to welcome the Walk.
