BENGALURU: Two men barged into a house on Anjaneya Swamy Temple Road in Rajagopal Nagar near Peenya on Tuesday and robbed a home-alone woman.

Police said the bike-borne duo approached the victim, Pushpalatha, around 11.30 am on the pretext of enquiring about houses for rent in the area. When she opened the door fully, they barged inside, brandished lethal weapons and snatched her gold chain and earrings.

They fled after locking her in a room. Her relatives, who had been at work, returned later in the day and let her out. Pushpalatha later filed a complaint with the Rajagopal Nagar police. Police have recovered footage from the CCTV camera installed in the area to identify the miscreants.
