Latest Technology Can Help Treat Brain Tumour, Says Doc

BENGALURU: People suffering from brain tumour get better results if they are treated using latest technologies such as the AKTIS SOMA machine, said Wing Commander Dr V G Vasishta, founder of Science Beyond Frontier Healthcare and Research Centre.

He spoke to reporters after a programme to observe World Cancer Day here on Tuesday. The survival rate of patients who are treated with Sequentially Programmed Magnetic Field (SPMF) Therapy, a non-surgical treatment is higher he said. As many as 164 patients have been treated with SPMF and more awareness needs to be created about it, he added.

Sashidhar, an auto driver from Tumakuru, said he was diagnosed with brain tumour in 2011.

He was treated with SPMF after which he has recovered completely, he added.
