Civic Fest for Children Tomorrow

BENGALURU: The Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy will hold its annual Bala Janaagraha civic fest for kids on Friday.

Organisers say, around 36,000 students from 485 schools across 24 cities participated in the initial stages of the event, and four schools were shortlisted.

Programme coordinator Major Gen (retd) K R Prasad said the fest is being organised as part of Janaagraha’s flagship ‘Bala Janaagraha’ event. “These students have brought in visible and sustainable solutions to civic issues,” he said.
