BENGALURU: Five cars parked inside a garage were burnt in a fire in HRBR Layout around midnight on Thursday. Fire brigade officials, who doused the fire, said it began in a garbage dump near Fayaz garage, where the cars were parked.
Among the vehicles burnt were a Hyundai Verna, a Hyundai Accent and a Tata Indica. A case has been registered by the KG Halli police.
Dog Bites Man
A man was bitten by a stray dog late on Friday. According to sources in the BBMP, Sachidananda Gowda, a resident of Vijaynagar, called the control room to report that he was bitten by a stray dog near Vijaynagar club.
