For Girls Who Love Their Curls

BENGALURU: For the longest time, I struggled to maintain my wavy hair but it would always get frizzy. Thus began my experimentation with styles. I have cut it short, straightened it, grown it long but after all of this, I would always end up tying it.

Until recently, I always had a short crop and then I finally outgrew it and decided to embrace my curls!

So here are some really easy tips for all you lovely women who have curly hair and find it hard to manage. A good conditioner is your hair's best friend. Use a mild shampoo and always follow up with a good conditioner. I would recommend doing away with shampoo while washing your hair on alternate days and just using the conditioner for the frizz. Invest in a good leave-in serum after you have washed your hair. Towel-dry your hair, use a good amount of serum, crunch the end of your hair and that's all that you need to do to keep those lovely curls in place.

For this type of hair, try and keep the length of the hair at one level. Layered hair styles do not flatter curls, unless you set it in a salon or have a good amount of time to set it every time you step out.

If you feel your hair is frizzing during the day, just make a dash to the washroom and moisten your hair with a little water and crunch it and your curls will still be intact!

There is no one kind of perfect, so embrace yourself the way you are and every day can  be a good hair day.
