4 Held For Selling Narcotics

BENGALURU:  The MICO Layout police on Saturday arrested a gang of four men, including a Nigerian national, for selling narcotics. Police seized cocaine, MDMA, marijuana, hashish and other narcotic substances and six two-wheelers, all worth `30 lakh.

The arrested have been identified as Okhomko Basil Dubisi, a Nigerian and a resident of T C Palya, Vaishak, Ahmed Luhal, and Sajeer, a native of Kerala. The three reside in BTM Layout. Dubisi had to come to India on a student visa  and was studying in a private college.

Based on a tip-off, police nabbed them when they were approaching students near a park at Tavarekere Cross and trying to sell the drugs.

“We are interrogating the accused to find the source of the substance and if the some other people are involved in the racket,” a senior police officer said.
