BENGALURU: The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has submitted a report in connection with the Mythreya Gowda rape case.
She had accused Karthik Gowda, son of Union Minister Sadananda Gowda, of raping her.
According to official sources, the reports stated that the sweat drops and semen found on Mythreya’s clothes were not of Karthik. The allegations made by Mythreya stands false. But the mobile phone recordings of the conversation between the two has proved that the voice is of Karthik. More reports are awaited, after which the investigation will be carried out, added the sources.
The RT Nagar police will now drop charges against Karthik. On August 27, 2014, Mythreya Gowda had lodged a complaint in RT Nagar police station against Karthik alleging that she was raped and cheated by him.
She approached the police at the time when Karthik was getting engaged to another girl.
