Club Prez Held for Abusing Women

BENGALURU: Kamakshipalya police on Friday arrested the chairman of Bangalore Indoor Cricket Club for allegedly abusing and misbehaving with some women actors. According to a complaint filed by the actors, the incident took place in KHB Colony near Basaveshwaranagar. The accused is Narasimhaiah (55), a businessman.

Police sources said the incident took place in the afternoon when the actors were shooting for a Kannada soap opera ‘Mogginna Manasu’ in a rented house near Nandavana Park. The crew had parked a vehicle with a power generator.

The actors said Narasimhaiah rammed his car into the vehicle before creating a ruckus.

When the crew members gathered, Narasimhaiah started abusing them. According to the complaint, he even misbehaved with the women artistes.

Four actors filed a complaint with the Kamakshipalya police, based on which Narasimhaiah was arrested and later released on bail.
