BENGALURU: While we are still weeks away from the jingle bell chimes, children in the city have already got their Christmas celebration in the city sorted.
Children from ages eight to 15 will turn entrepreneurs for a day and manage their own operations from end-to-end to raise money for  young people from vulnerable backgrounds through Dream a Dream.

The children will put up 12 stalls and sell their own creations ranging from jewellry to baked delicacies.
Hannah Kathryn D’coutho, who is 16 years old will be putting up a food stall. “I will be making sandwiches, non-veg rolls and mojito for the stall. I have been into cooking from over four years now. Me and my sister learn baking from YouTube tutorials,” she says.
She will be putting up the stall since she enjoys “cooking with the sister”.
There will also be a stall by Hoopsters Club, an online platform for children to express their opinions and showcase their talents.

Alayna Zaid, who is just 10 years of age loves baking. “I have already baked everything for my stall. You can come by to my stall for some brownie in a jar and a Santa on a skewer,” she informs.
But what exactly is this “Santa on a skewer”?
“Oh, it is just banana with a strawberry on top. Then I have made a hat out of cream and have put in two chocolate chips as Santa’s eyes,” says the young baker.
Alayna had put up a stall last year too.
“I love cooking. Last year I got my mother a mug from the stall earning. I still had a lot of money left,” she informs.
