BENGALURU: Flights were delayed at Kempegowda International Airport (KAIL) for three hours, due to dense fog on Friday morning.
As per KIAL spokesperson, close to 30 flights were delayed till 7.30 AM on Friday, after which conditions improved slightly. However, full fledged operations at the airport resumed only at 9 AM. Owing to cascade effect, both arrivals and departures continued to be delayed for more than an hour.
Many aircrafts were diverted to nearby airports. The details are awaited.
