BENGALURU: A 19-year-old M.tech student jumped from the seventh floor of the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-B) campus in Electronic City on Thursday night. The reason which led him to take this extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
Goluguri Sai Sharath, a native of Andhra Pradesh, was studying in the fourth semester in IIIT-B campus.
A senior officer said that the incident came to light early on Friday morning and no suicide note had been found.
"The reason which led him to take this step is not known. We also spoke to his friends and the college authorities to ascertain it. Once his parents arrive we will get more information," said a police officer.
