Biker dies in accident,  gets noticed 2 hours later

In an incident which the police initially suspected to be a murder, a man died in a road accident on Nagarbhavi Ring Road here on Sunday.

BENGALURU: In an incident which the police initially suspected to be a murder, a man died in a road accident on Nagarbhavi Ring Road here on Sunday.

The circumstances in which the man was found, led the police to suspect foul play, but further investigation revealed that it was an accident. The deceased, Chandrashekar (34), is a resident of Peenya. According to the police, while he was returning home early morning on Sunday, around 5-6 am, his scooter brushed against the median, causing him to fall among the plants and bushes planted on the median.

Chandrashekar suffered a head injury and reportedly died on the spot. However, he was not discovered by passers-by on the road until 8 am, as the bushes covered his body. A post-mortem was conducted at Victoria Hospital, and Annapurneshwari police registered a case of unnatural death.
A police official said Chandrashekar had a garment business. Police believe his vehicle hit the median, and no other vehicle was involved in the accident. Chandrashekar is survived by his wife of two years, and one child.
