BENGALURU: Prayers, release of a book on movie dialogues and distribution of bags and laddoos, will mark the celebrations of superstar Rajinikanth’s 68th birthday across the City on Tuesday (December 12).
G Rajini Murugan, president of the Karnataka State Rajiniji Seva Samiti, who was his schoolmate from class I to VII, along with fans will offer prayers for the well being of the superstar at the Gavi Gangadeshwara temple at Gavipuram at 11 am on Tuesday.
“This will be followed by a cake-cutting ceremony in front of the star’s alma mater, Kannada Model Primary School. We will distribute 200 school bags to children studying in class I to VII of the school,” he said.The Samiti has also readied 1,000 Rajini calendars for distribution among his fans and public, he added. The Tamil Sangam at Halasuru will also release an English book. “It is a compilation of witty dialogues rendered by the superstar in his films by his fan Satyan,” Murugan said.
