BENGALURU: One person died and 25 other employees of a factory were injured when a bus they were travelling in collided with a truck on NICE Road here on Sunday night. The deceased is Bharat (25), an employee of a plastic manufacturing factory and a resident of Attibele. In a trip sponsored by the factory, he had gone to Goa with about 100 of his colleagues in three buses. On their return, police said, the vehicle in which Bharat was travelling in, hit a truck ahead of it.
Bharat was sitting in the front seat and suffered severe head injuries, which caused his death on the spot.Kumaraswamy Layout police moved the injured persons to a nearby hospital. Police sources said the bus was being driven in a reckless manner, and have seized the vehicle.
