Humsafar train from Yesvantpur to Howrah chugs off

For its regular run, the Yesvantpur Howrah Express will depart from Yesvantpur at 9.55 AM on Thursdays and reach Howrah at 6.30 PM on Fridays.

BENGALURU: Union minister for statistics and programme implementation Sadananda Gowda on Thursday flagged off a Humsafar train (fully 3-tier AC) from Yesvantpur Railway Station to Howrah. The traditional green flag was waved by Gowda from Platform 6 of Yesvantpur station at 9.55 AM.

For its regular run, the Yesvantpur Howrah Express (Train no. 22888) will depart from Yesvantpur at 9.55 AM on Thursdays and reach Howrah at 6.30 PM on Fridays.

The Howrah-Yesvantpur Express (Train no. 22887) will leave Howrah at 12.40 PM on Tuesdays and arrive at Yesvantpur at 9.35 PM on Wednesdays. The train from the Howrah end had been inaugurated by railways minister Suresh Prabhu on January 20.

The tickets are priced at Rs 1945. The train with a seating capacity of 1, 152 will have a hot buffet car. Following the inauguration, the Yesvantpur-Howrah Superfast Special stands cancelled.
