BENGALURU: Indiranagar police on Saturday arrested a 35-year-old trader on charges of molesting a woman techie. Murali, a resident of LB Shashtri Nagar in HAL, runs a provision store in the area.
Three days ago, he allegedly threw a rubber lizard on her and on the pretext of removing it, he touched her in an appropriate manner.
A senior police officer said Murali was identified and nabbed based on CCTV footage. The CCTV camera was installed on the office premise where the woman works.
Murali was remanded in judicial custody. He was not involved in any such incidents earlier, police said.
